WLG in Mons, Belgium seeks a senior network engineer specializing in satellite and hybrid IP networks. You will design, integrate and operate satellite network architectures and secure end-to-end IP services across satellite and terrestrial links.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting routing and tunneling, optimizing SCPC/MCPC schemes, and supporting deployments and exercises in multinational military environments.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in IP networking including routing, switching and WAN tech.
• Experience with satellite, WAN or deployed comms in operational contexts.
• Strong TCP/IP, addressing, MTU and MSS, plus routing table understanding.
• Experience with Cisco routing/switching platforms; CCNA or equivalent; CCNP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide design, integration, operation and optimization of satellite network architectures.
• Support hybrid satellite services, military and commercial.
• Design end-to-end IP services across satellite and terrestrial networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 and 3 services: VLANs, trunking, Q-in-Q.
• Troubleshoot routing, tunneling and MTU issues; diagnose end-to-end connectivity.
• Support deployments, exercises and mission-related activity.
