EngiFlex BV is expanding its BI/DWH team and seeks an experienced SAS developer to contribute to a broad landscape of SAS applications and data processing solutions used by public-sector organizations.

You will work in an established environment, focusing on development, testing, production support, maintenance, and optimization, with a mix of ongoing upkeep and ad hoc enhancements to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAS development in data warehouse environments.
• Strong SAS Base knowledge: DATA Step, PROC SQL, Macro language.
• Extensive SAS ETL experience; SAS Base, SAS ETL, and SAS Macro as core tools.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience handling Excel, XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files in SQL processing.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration processes.
• Proven ability to analyze, maintain, and optimize SAS applications.
• Ability to interpret complex business rules with an analytical, structured approach.
• Autonomy, ownership, and effective team communication.

Responsabilités

• Analyse business and functional requirements with analysts.
• Develop, test, and maintain SAS Base apps and data processing programs.
• Build, improve, and optimize ETL processes in a DWH context.
• Carry out unit tests and support integration testing activities.
• Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for existing applications.
• Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of SAS programs and batch processes.
• Create and update technical and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, data engineers, and developers.
