Job summary

Mielabelo in Belgium seeks a Technical Expert in Finance SAP FICA/FICO to drive development and support of ECC applications and data. You’ll translate functional needs into technical specs and deliver end-to-end changes, with close collaboration with enterprise architects and finance leads.

You'll manage small projects, ensure quality solutions, and align with NMBS/Ypto standards, while supporting SAP data services, BITS integration, and multichannel finance processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years full cycle FICA & CI/FICO project implementations.
• Knowledge of setting up and customizing BITS as integration.
• Experience translating functional requirements into SAP technical implementations.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end changes and bug fixes in SAP environments.

Challenge |

the Technical Expert role in the Process & Functional Support function of Finance is to act as a key player in the development of the ECC applications and data related to SAP FICA & FICO solutions

This includes:

Providing day-to-day excellence in Functional & Technical Application Support which entails & given the complexity of the Technical designs & developments within FICA CI/CC & BITS that still need to be done:

• Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and create a technical specification including architectural design in collaboration with the functional analysts and the other developers.

• Contribute to the technical improvements and consolidation of the existing platform => Customizing in SAP ECC FICA & FICO and related applications

• Diagnosing/Analyzing issues and changes, design solutions

• End to End responsibility for delivering new developments, change requests and bug fixes

• As technical specialist you're a point of contact for the enterprise architect and have a good overview of the current architecture

• Act as Technical Expert for certain changes and requests regarding NMBS ECS applications regarding FICA & FICO. Manage expectations and ensure effective & qualitative solution delivery following best practices and according to NMBS/Ypto standards.

• Work with NMBS Multichannel & Finance Process Leads, NMBS Multichannel & Finance key users and other Finance members to operationally manage assigned change requests, bug fixes and small operational enhancements. Ensure fit with process and customer/user satisfaction, engagement/adoption by the business. Independently run small projects

• Report to the Business Area Lead and will work closely with the NMBS Process Leads, Finance Organization and the other NMBS IT functions.

Casting |

• Able to analyze functional requirements and translate these to SAP technical implementations

• At least 3 Years Full cycle FICA & CI/ FICO project Implementations

• At least 5 Years Experience in Knowledge of setting up and customizing BITS as integration

• Proven experience in the following work areas: SAP data services developments + Data exchange formats and protocols (SOAP, XML, JSON, REST, ...)
