EngiFlex BV in Belgium seeks an experienced SAP Backend Developer to translate functional specs into robust ABAP solutions. You will work on S/4HANA development, IS-U topics, and interface integrations while ensuring governance and best practices.

Responsibilities include designing modular ABAP, implementing IDoc/ALE and BAPI/RFC interfaces, and collaborating with the Basis team on security and performance. English required; French and/or Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SAP Backend Developer.
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
• Strong knowledge of classical ABAP and OO ABAP.
• Experience with SAP interface development (IDoc/ALE, BAPI/RFC, SOAP Web Services, OData, SAP Gateway).

Responsabilités

• Translate functional specifications into technical solutions and provide workload estimates.
• Develop SAP backend solutions in ABAP, focusing on modular code and reuse.
• Adhere to technical architecture, standards, naming, and governance.
• Analyze and implement SAP Notes; validate deviations with functional analysts.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis on authorizations, infrastructure, and configuration.
• Execute and document unit tests, including performance and non-functional aspects.
• Resolve defects in coordination with the functional analyst.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed objects and support deployments.
