PEC in Haasrode, Belgium seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to drive large-scale battery factory projects across Europe, bridging advanced technology, industrial strategy and sustainability. You will manage full sales cycles, visit customers on site, deliver technical and commercial presentations, coordinate demonstrations, and negotiate quotations to secure orders. The role requires frequent travel within Europe and close collaboration with pre‑sales and engineering teams to win strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales or business development.
• Existing personal network within the battery industry is advantageous.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle of our standard battery test and manufacturing equipment portfolio in Europe. You will:

• Identify new prospects and develop new revenue streams
• Develop and expand sales opportunities with existing customers
• Conduct on-site customer visits and deliver technical and commercial presentations
• Organize and coordinate product demonstrations for prospective customers
• Work closely with the pre-sales and technical teams to support customer engagements

Experience & Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional who meets the following requirements:

• Strong technical background; minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales or business development
• Existing personal network within the battery industry is a strong advantage
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills
• Fluent in English (C2) additional regional languages are a plus
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
