g2 Recruitment seeks a Robotics Software Engineer in Leuven, Belgium. The role spans 12-24 months with a rate of €650/day, focusing on autonomous robotic systems, ROS/ROS2 development, and real-time software in industrial settings.

You will design, implement and optimize algorithms for navigation, perception, localization and motion control; integrate sensors and hardware; and collaborate with hardware, AI and mechanical teams to deliver robust robotics solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Robotics, including design, integration and control of robotic systems.
• Analytical skills for problem-solving, data analysis and performance optimization.
• Experience with Process Automation and automated workflows.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in software development relevant to robotics (C/C++, Python, ROS, PLC).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, control systems in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of safety standards for robotic/automated systems is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Leuven and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
