Jobat is seeking a Robotic Engineer to join our driven engineering team. You will develop, maintain, and improve robotic software using ROS2, integrate navigation stacks, SLAM, and sensor fusion, and build perception systems with Computer Vision.

You will design and deploy ML models for robotic perception and autonomous decision-making, work hands-on with real robots including system integration and tuning, contribute to control, localization, and path planning, and participate in on-site

Robotic Engineer role

As a robotic engineer, you will be part of our driven engineering team, where you will work together to develop high-quality software solutions. Your tasks will include:

• Develop, maintain, and improve robotic software using ROS2


• Integrate and optimize navigation stacks, SLAM, and sensor fusion


• Build perception systems using Computer Vision (e.g., object detection, visual localization)


• Design and deploy Machine Learning models for robotic perception and autonomous decision-making


• Work hands-on with real robots: system integration, deployment, tuning, and performance optimization


• Contribute to robot control, localization, and path planning


• Participate in on-site testing and customer deployments across Belgium and the Netherlands
