Actief Interim Hoogstraten is seeking a robotic engineer to join our engineering team in Belgium. You will develop and maintain robotic software using ROS2, integrate navigation stacks, SLAM, and sensor fusion, and build perception systems with Computer Vision and ML models for autonomous decision-making.

You will work hands-on with real robots, performing system integration, tuning, and performance optimization, and contribute to robot control, localization, and path planning.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and improve robotic software using ROS2
• Integrate and optimize navigation stacks, SLAM, and sensor fusion
• Build perception systems using Computer Vision (e.g., object detection, visual localization)
• Design and deploy Machine Learning models for robotic perception and autonomous decision-making
• Work hands‑on with real robots: system integration, deployment, tuning, and performance optimization
• Contribute to robot control, localization, and path planning
• Participate in on‑site testing and customer deployments across Belgium and the Netherlands
