Job summary

JERA Nex bp is seeking a Senior Risk Officer to implement and embed the global risk management framework across the organization. You will strengthen risk awareness, oversee risk registers, and deliver consolidated risk reporting to senior management and Board Committees.

The role requires 10+ years of risk management experience, strong communication, and a proactive, analytical mindset. Travel may be required as part of global activities and risk reviews.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of experience in risk management.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in programme management - leading multifunctional groups.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in renewable energy and its regulatory dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve the corporate risk management framework (policies, procedures, methodologies).
• Identify, assess, treat, monitor, and report risks across all functions.
• Maintain and enhance risk registers with clear ownership.
• Prepare consolidated risk reports and dashboards for senior management and Board Committees.
• Lead cross-functional risk initiatives and monitor industry trends and threats.
