Job summary

Jobgether partners with a Belgium-based company seeking a DevOps + Go Platform Engineer to build and evolve an internal developer platform and CI/CD ecosystem. You will work across Kubernetes environments, on‑premise systems, Windows and Hyper‑V, and cloud or hybrid deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

From modernizing deployment tools to optimizing ephemeral environments, your work will influence how teams deliver software.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of senior DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with on‑premise infra and hardware issues.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Recent production Go development experience with tooling or services.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise and GitLab CI/CD knowledge.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible; observability with Grafana/OpenSearch/Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Support and improve infrastructure across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and refactor internal platform tools in Go, including deployment system replacements.
• Investigate environments, identify weaknesses, and implement measurable improvements.
• Optimize staging and ephemeral environments for performance and costs.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strengthen observability with Grafana, OpenSearch, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting within a shared team.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, SRE, and infra teams to improve developer workflows.
• Work across modern and legacy stacks including Windows Server and Hyper‑V.
