Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a Belgium-based opportunity for a Cloud Platform Engineer. You will design and operate Azure-centric cloud infrastructure enabling AI apps, data products, and scalable deployments in a multinational context.

You will build reusable IaC modules, automated pipelines, and observability frameworks, with CI/CD, security, and cost controls at the forefront. Strong collaboration with AI engineers and IT teams across countries is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience deploying cloud-native apps on Azure
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, containers, monitoring and logging
• Strong Python and SQL; TypeScript is a plus
• Understanding of data engineering, ETL, data pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, APIs and event-driven design
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools
• Fluent English; strong communication across diverse teams
• Proactive, analytical mindset focused on automation and reliability

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure for AI applications using Azure; AWS when needed
• Develop IaC modules, deployment templates, and observability patterns
• Automate provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, secrets management, and cost controls
• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions for AI-powered workflows and data platforms
• Implement and maintain cloud security standards (IAM, encryption, resilience)
• Establish monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and operational practices for availability
• Collaborate with country IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to onboard cloud environments
• Support transition of AI/data solutions to production-ready environments
• Apply DevSecOps, platform engineering, and SRE principles for automation and reliability
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and delivery workflows
