Hummingbird Ventures is seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join its Belgian-based team. You will co-own the compliance framework for the licensed Belgian AIFM, work closely with the Compliance Officer, and oversee AML/CFT, KYC, and regulatory reporting.

You will engage with regulators, manage relationships, and lead implementation of new requirements across a lean, international platform. Fluent English with French and/or Dutch is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong compliance and risk management expertise in regulated financial services.
• Hands-on, autonomous practitioner comfortable handling end-to-end tasks.
• Experience with AIFM structures and regulator interactions.

Responsabilités

• Own and continuously develop the firm's Compliance and Risk Framework as a licensed Belgian AIFM.
• Track regulatory developments (AIFMD, AML/CFT, DORA, SFDR) and implement new requirements.
• Run AML/CFT activities including KYC reviews and investor onboarding.
• Act as primary contact with regulators and handle submissions and inspections.
• Oversee outsourced providers and ICT, including risk assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide hands-on compliance support across fund operations and fundraising.
• Partner with Board and Compliance Officer to strengthen the function.
