The candidate will draft and negotiate clinical research agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and partner with global teams.

Qualifications

• Master of Laws degree with excellent results.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, at least 5 years supporting R&D, clinical development, life sciences or healthcare.
• Experience in clinical research agreements and related documentation is preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in multinational corporations and healthcare industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance to R&D partners on clinical development activities, including trials and external collaborations.
• Support program, portfolio and study-level reviews by identifying legal and compliance considerations and advising on mitigation strategies.
• Advise on interpretation and application of laws, regulations and GCP requirements for compliant decision-making.
• Draft, review and provide oversight for clinical research-related agreements and documentation; support negotiations for complex matters.
• Collaborate with regional and global R&D teams and other functions to ensure aligned and comprehensive legal support.
