Pauwels Consulting is seeking an experienced quality management professional to ensure the reliability and sustainability of high‑voltage infrastructure in a Brussels hybrid role. You will develop a robust QMS, conduct supplier audits, manage non-conformities, and maintain quality plans for on‑site installation by suppliers.

You’ll coordinate FAT/SAT, drive KPI dashboards, and archive technical documentation while traveling within Belgium and occasionally across Europe.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quality management systems and supplier follow-up in technical/industrial environments.
• Experience with high-voltage equipment such as transformers, switchgear, insulated cables, and overhead lines.
• Knowledge of BPMN, SIPOC, PACI tables, or swimlane diagrams.
• Experience with document management systems and data archiving.
• Willingness to travel within Belgium and occasionally across Europe.

Our client, a leading player in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced professional to ensure the reliability and sustainability of high-voltage infrastructure. The role involves developing a robust Quality Management framework and managing the end-to-end quality follow-up of technical equipment and documentation.

• Develop and implement a Quality Management framework including relevant processes, tools, and guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform factory audits to evaluate supplier quality management systems and manage technical non-conformities during production and testing.
• Create and maintain quality control plans for the installation of high-voltage equipment on-site by suppliers.
• Coordinate inspection activities and factory testing, including participation in Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Monitor supplier performance by developing and maintaining quality dashboards based on qualitative feedback and quantitative KPIs.
• Facilitate the organization and archiving of technical documentation and asset data within internal document management systems.
• Map and document internal business processes using methodologies such as BPMN, SIPOC models, and flowcharts.

• You have 8+ years of experience in quality management systems and supplier follow-up within a technical or industrial environment.
• You possess experience with high-voltage primary system equipment such as transformers, switchgear, insulated cables, and overhead lines.
• You're proficient in mapping and creating business processes using BPMN, SIPOC, PACI tables, or swimlane diagrams.
• You bring experience with document management systems and data archiving in tools like SharePoint.
• You're proactive, structured, and possess a strong attention to technical detail.
• You possess a willingness to travel within Belgium and occasionally across Europe for supplier visits.
• You are fluent in English with a good command of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Technical or engineering degree.
• Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Familiarity with KPI reporting and quality dashboarding.
