Senior QC Welding & Structural Inspector – Offshore Wind

Zusammenfassung

SGS is seeking a highly experienced QC Welding & Structural Inspector to join a fabrication yard for an offshore wind project. Start mid November 2026, six‑month assignment, resident role, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

You will support the QC Lead Inspector in surveillance of fabrication yards and supplier facilities, ensure compliance with ITPs, and review the Contractor’s Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans and related procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Expert-level QC/QA experience in welding and structural inspection (10–15 years).
• High level of English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience in inspections and quality control at a shipyard; offshore experience preferred.
• Qualified in welding and NDT to international standards.
• Experience with EPCI contracts and CQI member status.

Aufgaben

• Support the QC Lead Inspector in supervising project QC activities.
• Ensure manufacturing surveillance on prefabrication yards and suppliers/sub-vendors facilities as per ITPs.
• Identify inspection notifications and ensure compliance with Project requirements.
• Review the Contractor’s Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans and related procedures.
