Job summary

fortil is seeking a Quality Control Lead – Offshore Prefabrication to supervise steel structure fabrication and coating across European sites. You will ensure compliance with project requirements, ITPs and surveillance plans while leading welding, NDT, coating and related activities.

Based in Belgium with regular travel to fabrication sites across Europe (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and France), you will coordinate inspections, manage NCRs and maintain quality documentation and

Qualifications

Engineering degree required.
Significant experience in production and quality control.
Experience in steel structure fabrication and offshore environments.
Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Supervise prefabrication activities for steel structures and coating works.
Monitor the quality of structural components across fabrication sites.
Ensure fabrication activities comply with project requirements, ITPs and surveillance plans.
Supervise welding, NDT, coating and associated activities.
Verify the conformity of materials, fabrication activities and quality documentation.
Participate in inspections, control points and final inspections.
Prepare reports and monitor quality progress and KPIs.
