Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group is seeking a QA Engineer / Test Specialist to join the Brussels team. The role involves defining test strategy, building automated suites for backend (.NET/JAVA REST APIs) and frontend (Angular/PrimeNG), and collaborating with DevOps to integrate tests in CI/CD.

You will work closely with the client IT team on site. The candidate should have a university IT degree and at least 8 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in QA and 2+ years in test automation, with strong

Qualifications

• University degree in IT with relevant IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional QA or test engineering experience, with at least 2 years in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with backend API test automation (Playwright API testing, or equivalent).
• Strong frontend test automation experience for Angular applications (Playwright or Selenium).
• Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing (GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing event-driven or message-based systems and asynchronous flows.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments and log diagnostics for test investigation.
• Ability to read .NET and TypeScript/Angular code to write meaningful tests.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain test strategy across unit, integration, end-to-end, regression and performance testing.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for backend APIs and frontend components.
• Set up and maintain test environments and data pipelines with DevOps.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates.
• Conduct exploratory testing on complex multi-system workflows.
• Produce actionable defect reports and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Support performance and load testing for high-throughput APIs.
• Contribute to test documentation for governance and audits.
• Participate in Agile@PM² ceremonies and sprint planning.
