Advancing People Ltd. in Brussels seeks an experienced QA Engineer to own end-to-end quality for the IDP platform, designing, automating and running tests while guiding the Brussels team through Scrum ceremonies.

You will collaborate with developers, the product owner and stakeholders to ensure quality as a measurable outcome. The role involves test strategy across functional, regression, integration and non-functional testing, plus designing and maintaining automated suites in CI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in testing fundamentals: test design techniques, risk-based prioritisation and clear defect reporting.
• Hands-on test automation for web applications (Playwright, Cypress or Selenium) and API testing.
• Demonstrate prior experience with (AI powered) development of testing framework and methodology.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or equivalent).
• Practical experience facilitating agile ceremonies. Strong facilitation skills; able to keep discussions productive and time boxed.
• Effective communicator in English, with the ability to work in a multicultural, collaborative environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail, combined with pragmatism about testing scope.
• Experience testing model-driven or non-deterministic systems, exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, performance or security testing.
• 1-2 years' experience in software QA or testing, including test automation.
• Experience as Scrum Master or facilitating ceremonies for a delivery team.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsabilités

• Own the test strategy for the IDP, covering functional, regression, integration and non-functional testing across its front ends and services.
• Design, write and maintain test cases and automated suites, and run them in the CI pipelines so regressions are caught before a release.
• Benefit from continuous exposure to the latest and greatest AI models, both within the product and as used in development of the product.
• Validate document-processing accuracy - extraction, classification and integrity scoring - against representative document sets, and maintain that test data.
• Triage, reproduce and clearly document defects, track them through to resolution and verify fixes.
• Facilitate the Brussels team's Scrum ceremonies - planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives - keeping them focused and time-boxed.
