All European Careers BENELUX in Brussels is seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to build secure, scalable backend services using Python and modern frameworks. You will design and implement RESTful APIs and work with relational and NoSQL databases in an international IT environment.

This hybrid role requires 6+ years in Python, experience with Django/Flask/FastAPI, Docker/Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong experience with Django/Flask/FastAPI and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases and ORM.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Design, implement and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, ORM models and SQL queries.
• Apply secure coding practices, authentication, encryption and vulnerability scanning.
• Support automated testing, code quality and CI/CD processes.
