Pauwels Consulting in Brussels-area seeks a senior PM to lead cross-functional regulatory initiatives for life insurance products and systems, bridging business, compliance and IT. The role requires translating Solvency II, IDD, ESG, AML rules into actionable requirements and delivering end-to-end projects.

You will coordinate diverse stakeholders, oversee plans and budgets, and ensure audit-ready documentation, with a hybrid work model in Ixelles. Start ASAP; 7-month renewable if applicable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project or product management within Life Insurance or financial services.
• Expert knowledge of Life Insurance products and regulatory frameworks such as Solvency II, IDD, ESG, and AML.
• Extensive experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven track record in regulatory impact analysis and translating legislation into practical solutions.
• Strong expertise in change leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in French with professional proficiency in English.

Our client, a prominent organization in the life insurance sector, is looking for a professional to lead cross-functional initiatives ensuring products and systems comply with evolving regulatory requirements. The role acts as a bridge between business, compliance, and IT teams to deliver efficient and customer-centric solutions. Management of end-to-end delivery from scoping to implementation is central to the mission.

• You possess a proven track record in regulatory impact analysis and translating legislation into practical solutions.
• You bring strong expertise in change leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• You have an analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in French with professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Certification in project management such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile.
• Knowledge of FSMA and NBB guidelines.
• Active knowledge of Dutch.
