Job summary

Afarax is seeking a Senior Project Leader to join a major organisation in Brussels for a long-term assignment within Financial Markets, Treasury and Finance. You will own end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects, from initial analysis and solution definition through implementation, testing, acceptance and final delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Leader / Senior Project Manager in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance.
• Experience coordinating large multidisciplinary Business & IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of complex projects from initiation to delivery.
• Analyse business and technical requirements and define solutions.
• Define and manage project plans, milestones, scope, budget, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary and transversal teams across Business and IT.
• Ensure alignment between functional and technical architecture and project implementation.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate integration and acceptance testing.
• Manage change requests and related impact assessments.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and sub-projects.
• Organise and chair Steering Committees and project governance meetings.
• Ensure clear communication and reporting towards senior management and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver executive presentations and project reporting.
