Job summary

Hitachi Energy Belgium N.V. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, international projects contributing to the energy transition. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure alignment with business, customer, and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading large and complex projects within industrial, infrastructure, energy, or technology environments.
• Proven track record delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple project interfaces.
• Comfortable making decisions in complex situations and solving challenging business issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation through execution, commissioning, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Drive project performance by monitoring progress, managing risks, and implementing mitigation plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment across business functions, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, contractual obligations, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coach and support project team members while promoting continuous improvement and project management best practices.
