Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects driving the energy transition and ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives, customer expectations, and financial targets.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate resources across functions, and drive execution from initiation to completion, coaching team members and sharing best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Extensive experience leading large and complex projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or technology environments.
• Proven track record delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and project interfaces.
• Ability to make decisions in complex situations and solve challenging business issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation through execution, commissioning, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans to drive performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment across functions, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, contractual obligations, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coach and support project team members and promote continuous improvement and project management best practices.
