Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Senior Service Owner to bridge business, customers, and IT. You will translate market needs into service opportunities, build business cases, and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to realization. You will monitor scope, budget, and timing while aligning stakeholders across business and IT. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Location: Brugge, Belgium. Working model: Hybrid. Start: ASAP. Contract: open to permanent or freelance arrangements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in service development, product development, or service design.
• Extensive experience managing the full lifecycle from market research and concept development to business case execution.
• Proven track record in environments requiring close business and IT alignment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, investment analysis, and cost-benefit evaluation.
• High level of IT affinity to interface with technical product teams without requiring developer-level skills.
• Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities in complex organizational structures.
• Strategic and conceptual thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivery.
• Proactive and solution-oriented.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
