Job summary

ING Belgium is seeking a (Senior) Customer Journey Expert to own the consumer lending product landscape, from application to disbursement and ongoing servicing. You will lead the loan application journey, in-life management, and launch new credit features, balancing margin and risk with IT implementation.

You will collaborate with risk, operations, IT and sales to optimize credit policy, and you’ll work in the Tribe Consumer Loans, across Belgium’s personal loan products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, customer-journey management or related field
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven planning, organizational and project-management capabilities
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and deliverables
• Experience collaborating with IT engineers on digital products or journeys
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue and cost model for Consumer Loans to optimize margin vs credit-risk costs
• Translate product vision into testable, implementable business requirements
• Bridge between business and IT to ensure clarity of outcomes and validated solutions
• Own lending products and customer journeys end-to-end (functionality, tech, UX, controls, operations)
• Define capability vision and delivery priorities with your squad
• Collaborate with IT engineers and architects to design scalable solutions
• Work in a self-steering, cross-border team and align with Tribe objectives
• Apply policies and regulations in product and journey design
• Collect and analyse data to identify improvement opportunities
• Lead clear communication about new products and features to stakeholders
• Coordinate responses to product and journey incidents with risk processes
