Prothya Biosolutions Belgium is seeking a Senior Process Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot production and utility systems with high autonomy. You will ensure reliability, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.

You will work within a GMP-regulated biopharma environment, support safety initiatives, participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts, and coach peers while advancing maintenance planning

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within pharma/biotech/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and quality systems.
• Experience with SAP, SCADA, and MS Office.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Analytical mindset with continuous improvement.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
• Team player with good communication.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with working knowledge of technical English.
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and troubleshoot production and utility systems with high autonomy.
• Ensure reliability, performance and continuous improvement of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems while complying with GMP, safety and quality standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and utility equipment.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurrence of failures.
• Monitor alarms through SCADA and address downtime proactively.
• Ensure safety and GMP compliance in equipment and processes.
• Coach less experienced technicians on GMP practices and share knowledge.
• Participate in maintenance planning and optimization initiatives.
• Support on-call rotations and weekend scheduling.
