ASM in Leuven, Belgium seeks a Senior Process Engineer to drive area-selective deposition innovations from concept to implementation. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and cross-functional teams to develop ASD processes that add value for internal and external customers.

You hold a PhD and have hands-on experience with ALD/CVD and advanced characterization methods, enabling pragmatic solutions in high-volume manufacturing and technology transfers across ASM sites.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
• Experience with deposition techniques (ALD/CVD) and characterization methods (AFM, XRD, TEM, SIMS, ellipsometry).
• Understanding of semiconductor physics, processing equipment, and/or advanced chemistries.

Responsabilités

• Research, develop and optimize ASD processes using semiconductor processing equipment.
• Conduct experiments, measurements and derive conclusions from complex data.
• Demonstrate innovative solutions in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
• Stay updated on state-of-the-art processing applications in semiconductors.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to define requirements and execute projects.
