Michelman in Belgium seeks a seasoned Process/Project Engineer to anchor technical leadership across production processes, wastewater treatment and utilities. You will drive data-driven improvements, scope and deliver capital and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with EHS, Quality and R&D teams.

The role requires 7+ years in process or project engineering, a chemical or mechanical engineering degree, and a background in chemical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of process or project engineering experience.
• Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Chemical manufacturing background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Become subject matter expert on production processes, wastewater treatment and utilities within the facility.
• Support data collection and analysis of plant metrics and develop new metrics to identify opportunities in EHS, Quality, Productivity, Efficiency and Sustainability.
• Use plant data to identify improvement opportunities and scope, plan and implement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing problems to meet performance targets.
• Support Quality Team to investigate and resolve deficiencies and customer complaints.
• Lead corrective action and problem solving activities and implement actions.
