Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Power BI Platform Lead to own NATO's Power BI environment end-to-end, from operational support to dashboard development and user enablement. The role focuses on reliability, performance, and scalable reporting capabilities across the organization.

You will implement ITIL-aligned incident and change processes, perform on‑premises upgrades, design interactive dashboards, contribute to BI architecture, and run knowledge-transfer programs for NBAC staff and power

Qualifications

• 5+ years consulting on large-scale business-application implementations.
• 3+ years with Power BI Report Server (on-prem) and Power BI Service (cloud), configuration, administration, troubleshooting.
• 3+ years Power BI development, data modelling, DAX and dashboard/report building.
• 5+ years MS SQL Server (2014 or higher), complex SQL and ETL.
• Experience with data modelling, normalised/denormalised, star/snowflake schemas.
• Level 2/3 support in ITIL environments; Agile delivery experience.
• Full professional English (C1 or equivalent).
• An active (or obtainable) NATO Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Own NATO's Power BI platform end-to-end: operations, dashboards, and training for power users.
• Tune and optimise Power BI Server for performance and reliability.
• Provide L2/L3 platform support, monitoring, backups, logs, and tuning.
• Run incident, problem and change management following ITIL and NATO protocols.
• Perform planned on-premises patching and upgrades under release authorisation.
• Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Contribute to BI architecture and data-modeling standards.
• Train NBAC staff and power users via knowledge-transfer plan.
