Sopra Steria in Belgium is seeking a Senior BI Engineer – Power BI to design and deliver end‑to‑end BI solutions. You will combine data engineering, ETL/ELT, data modelling with hands‑on Power BI development to produce robust reports, dashboards and semantic models.

You will lead BI projects across the full lifecycle, coach colleagues in DAX and data modelling, collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders, and contribute to reusable assets and our internal methodology within the

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BI experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development.
• Strong Power BI expertise: semantic modelling, DAX, Power Query, visualisation, deployment and performance.
• End-to-end BI delivery: data ingestion to reporting and dashboarding.
• Experience with SQL, data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric; governance experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.

• Take ownership of BI projects across the lifecycle, ensuring performance, governance and scalability.
• Coach colleagues on data modelling, DAX, visualisation and deployment best practices.

• Contribute to internal methodologies, reusable assets and standards within the Data Visualisation Practice.
