Legendcareerseu in Oost-Vlaanderen is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to ensure operational excellence in payroll management. The role involves overseeing personnel administration, managing compliance, and collaborating with HR to enhance the employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in payroll, preferably within a production environment, and must be fluent in Dutch and English. The company offers an indefinite contract, an attractive salary package, and numerous fringe benefits.

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and supporting our employees. Working closely with HR and other departments, you will oversee payroll activities, manage compliance, and contribute to a superior employee experience.

What can you expect?

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Payroll and administration: Oversee personnel administration, ensuring data accuracy in all HR systems; manage time and attendance systems, resolve issues, and process payroll accurately and on time; analyze and resolve discrepancies while preparing monthly reports and ad hoc requests.
• Collaboration and employee support: Act as the main contact for payroll, social law, and time registration inquiries; work closely with HR and other departments to enhance efficiency and support onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Compliance and process improvement: Monitor and integrate updates in social, fiscal, and labor law into payroll activities; participate in audits, improve workflows, and ensure compliance with all standards.

Who are we looking for?

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in payroll or HR administration.

Experience

• At least 6 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a production environment.

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch and English, enabling clear communication across teams.

Strengths

Expertise
