Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a seasoned Packaging Engineer to support lifecycle packaging, technology transfer and PPQ across IMSC sites. You will coordinate launches, transfers and equipment installs with MSAT, planning and packaging operations to ensure compliant, cost-efficient packaging solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in packaging engineering, knowledge of packaging tech, and strong teamwork. Travel up to 10% is expected; SAP/SharePoint and artwork systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of packaging engineering and/or design.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment and technology.
• Experience with secondary and distribution packaging material design.
• Understanding of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.
• Ability to lead and/or support multiple projects.
• Experience with PPQ strategy and execution.
• Proficient teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifecycle packaging equipment, technology transfer and PPQ support across sites.
• Coordinate tech transfers, launches and equipment installs with stakeholders.
• Ensure packaging tech and engineering standards are met across sites.
• Support packaging quality investigations for new products and transfers.
• Identify cost improvements and drive line efficiency initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional collaborations within IMSC teams.
• Define project objectives with NPI/technical transfer teams.
• Apply FPX and Six Sigma project methodologies where possible.
• Champion sustainable packaging solutions.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
