Job summary

PwC Belgium is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join the Advisory team in the R&D & Quality group. You will lead clinical operations and portfolio strategy engagements for Pharma and Life Sciences clients, guiding processes, governance, and digital enablement across CTMS, eTMF, and RBQM platforms.

The role requires 7–9 years in clinical operations or related areas, a Master’s in Life Sciences or related field, and strong communication to build client relationships.

Qualifications

• 7–9+ years of experience in clinical operations or portfolio strategy within Pharma/Life Sciences.
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, EU CTR, and global regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex clinical operations and portfolio strategy engagements for Pharma/Life Sciences clients.
• Provide expert guidance on clinical development processes and regulatory expectations.
• Design and optimise operating models for trial execution and portfolio governance.
• Support digital initiatives (CTMS, eTMF, RBQM, analytics) for portfolio decisions.
• Develop proposals, statements of work, and deliverables; support business development.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge within the team.
