Job summary

ATS4IT in Brussels (Hybrid) seeks a Senior Infrastructure / Linux Security Engineer to protect and evolve Linux-based infrastructures. You will drive security, automation, and cloud integration while collaborating across teams to ensure reliability and resilience.

The role requires deep Linux administration, vulnerability management, and incident response experience, with strong IAM and SIEM knowledge. The team operates in an Agile environment and focuses on secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Linux Infrastructure and Security.
Strong expertise with RHEL and Linux administration.
Experience with system hardening, vulnerability management, and patch management.
Knowledge of IAM concepts and security monitoring (SIEM).
Experience with shell scripting and automation.
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
Experience investigating and resolving security incidents.

Responsibilities

Manage, secure, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure environments.
Monitor security events and investigate potential threats and incidents.
Implement security controls, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation plans.
Maintain patching and update processes across infrastructure platforms.
Automate operational and security-related tasks.
Collaborate with infra, cloud, and security teams to improve resilience.
Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments.
Contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
