Sopra Steria is seeking a DevOps Expert to maintain and optimize business-critical applications and platforms. You will focus on deployments, automation, incident resolution, and performance improvement, collaborating with development, infrastructure, and business teams to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Open Systems, Mainframe architectures, and package integration.
• Hands-on experience with RiskShield is a nice-to-have.
• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to complex technical environments, tools, and frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to structure and interpret complex information.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Autonomous, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is required.

Responsabilités

• Integrating new solutions and optimizing existing applications, services, and workflows.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for the back-end environment, focusing on Linux-based systems.
• Researching and evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to their adoption.
• Applying engineering standards and DevSecOps practices for performance, security, and scalability.
• Co-owning operation, monitoring, and reliability of production systems with SLAs.
• Ensuring stability and performance of platforms and services.
• Designing secure, automated end-to-end solutions with DevOps practices.
• Creating proofs of concept to validate new technologies and approaches.
• Optimizing integration between applications and infrastructure; identifying requirements as needed.
• Participating in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Identifying risks and opportunities while aligning with business goals.
• Reviewing technical documentation for quality and consistency.
• Showing customer-focused thinking and pragmatic problem solving.
• Taking ownership and collaborating effectively within the team.
