Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing Linux-based infrastructure in large-scale environments.
• Proven experience with RHEL lifecycle management and Red Hat Satellite.
• Strong Ansible Automation Platform skills: playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Experience with Podman or OCI containers and container lifecycle operations.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• You're experienced in ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong focus on performance tuning, OS-level diagnostics, and monitoring-driven operations.

Responsabilités

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a System Engineer to provide advanced operational support for Linux-based IT infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring system stability and performance while driving continuous improvement through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.

• Provide advanced operational support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for Linux-based IT infrastructure.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, including provisioning and patching via Red Hat Satellite.
• Implement system changes and routine maintenance following established processes and standards.
• Drive automation and operational reliability using Ansible Automation Platform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain secure, compliant, and well-monitored environments.
• Participate in R&D initiatives to evaluate new technologies and develop solution prototypes.

• 4+ years of experience managing Linux-based infrastructure in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux lifecycle management and Red Hat Satellite.
• Strong expertise in Ansible Automation Platform, including playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• You bring experience with Podman or OCI containers and container lifecycle operations.
• You possess familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• You're experienced in working within structured ITIL-aligned processes like incident, problem, and change management.
• You have a strong focus on performance tuning, OS-level diagnostics, and monitoring-driven operations.
• You possess a native level of Dutch or French with professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with VMware virtual environments and NetApp storage systems.
• Knowledge of security tools like Trend Micro Deep Security or ClamAV.
• Familiarity with network platforms including Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, or InfoBlox.
• Knowledge of German.
