Job summary

LG Electronics Benelux seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to support the Benelux legal function and act as a strategic advisor to senior management. You will oversee commercial contracting, competition law, GDPR compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

This role partners with business units to enable sustainable growth, manage legal risk, and uphold LG's ethics and compliance culture across the region.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent).
• Qualified lawyer/admitted to practice in an EU jurisdiction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic legal advisory to senior management in the Benelux region.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including sales, procurement, marketing, service and SaaS contracts.
• Oversee competition/antitrust matters and provide training to business stakeholders.
• Lead GDPR and data privacy initiatives; oversee privacy governance and data transfer arrangements.
• Support governance, compliance programs and external counsel management.
