Job summary

Worldline invites an accomplished Head of Legal Benelux to shape legal strategy across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. You will lead the regional team, oversee contracts, M&A support, governance, and regulatory risk management to enable business growth in the Benelux market.

You will advise senior management, coordinate data protection efforts (GDPR), and drive standard templates, training, and knowledge sharing across the three jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with eligibility to practise in at least one Benelux jurisdiction.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch/French helpful for coordination.
• 10–15 years international legal experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, GDPR, and regulatory matters.
• Experience in payments or regulated industries desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Benelux legal team; set strategy and budgets.
• Negotiate and review contracts across Benelux; manage risk.
• Support regulatory and compliance matters with local authorities.
• Provide corporate governance guidance to boards and execs.
• Develop policies to ensure regulatory compliance in Benelux.
• Coordinate GDPR data protection initiatives across Benelux.
• Deliver internal legal training and grow knowledge base.
