Tractebel is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer in Structural Engineering to lead complex infrastructure projects in Belgium and internationally. The role integrates BIM-driven design, technical reviews, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with a team of engineers and CAD specialists.

You will mentor junior staff, manage projects end-to-end, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding safety and quality standards across four Belgian offices and international engagements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 20 years of experience in structural engineering projects, including complex infrastructures.
• Proven expertise in leading engineering projects across all phases (sales, contracts, design, studies, tendering, execution).
• Strong knowledge of BIM and parametric design.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in Dutch; English or French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Leading and managing structural engineering projects from concept to execution, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Acting as an expert in structural engineering, providing technical design reviews and guidance for other projects.
• Driving the use of BIM and parametric design to enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Preparing and presenting project proposals and contracts in collaboration with commercial teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of learning.
