Job summary

NATO - Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium, seeks a qualified professional to contribute to the Defence Planning Process within the NDPP framework. This full-time NATO G15 post, based at SHAPE, supports the CR section and coordinates with SHAPE divisions, ACT and NCIA to deliver joint enabling outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations Planning, Joint Tactical/Strategic HQ.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to collate, analyze and synthesize information.
• Proven track record in organisational and analytical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Joint Enabling expertise to the CR section.
• Coordinate Enablement of SACEUR AOR through the NDPP development.
• Support NDPP steps 2-3 apportionment and related inputs.
• Lead the NDPP Step 3 and related domain analyses.
• Act as the Country officer for select nations in Step 5 processes.
• Liaise with SHAPE divisions, ACT and NCIA for Defence Planning documents.
