Meritis is seeking a Senior Java Developer to strengthen a risk management-focused team within a dynamic B2B platform environment. The role involves joining an international setting to collaborate with business, IT, and data teams on mission-critical risk management applications for energy operations.

You will design, develop, and evolve robust Java applications, mentor colleagues, and drive technical excellence while embracing Agile and DevOps practices to deliver high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional Java development experience.
• Fluent in French or Dutch; strong professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java applications.
• Lead the development of critical software components and ensure timely delivery.
• Design and evolve REST APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Mentor junior developers and promote technical excellence within the team.
• Drive continuous improvement in an Agile and DevOps environment.
