Aikido Security in Belgium is seeking an experienced Java developer to join our fast-growing team. You’ll collaborate with engineers to build a secure, scalable platform that devs actually enjoy using.

You’ll ship modular code, participate in design decisions, and improve performance while learning new languages as the product evolves. English fluency and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering modular, maintainable Java applications.
• Ability to participate in architectural decisions.
• Comfort in fast-paced startup environments.
• Willingness to learn new languages when needed.

Responsabilités

• Write modular, testable, and efficient code using Java (and other languages).
• Design and implement high‑availability applications.
• Discover, plan, write, document and maintain new features.
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Understand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Optimize the product code for speed where required.
