Médiane Benelux is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to work on business-critical railway infrastructure applications. You will design, develop, and maintain robust Java services within modern microservices architectures to consolidate infrastructure data and support real-time traffic planning.

You will apply Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST/gRPC, and CI/CD practices in an Agile environment, mentoring developers and ensuring code quality with SOLID and security-first principles.

Qualifications

• Java 11+ with exposure to Java 21.
• Spring (Boot, Cloud, Security) expertise.
• Maven, JPA/Hibernate, REST & gRPC.
• SQL, Git/Jenkins, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Angular exposure; Agile/Scrum mindset; DevOps practices.
• 10+ years of Java development in large-scale, business-critical systems.
• Strong mentoring, analytical and proactive, quality-driven.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement new Java features and services.
• Maintain and evolve existing applications.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Integrate automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure code quality (Clean Code, SOLID, security).
