Médiane Benelux is seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Belgium to join a dynamic team developing software for rail transport. You will contribute to software design and system development for mobility of tomorrow, collaborating with domain experts.

The role requires 5+ years in C++/Linux, strong English and French communication, and a background in software/electronics engineering. An on-site, collaborative environment with exciting rail-project opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ and Linux.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic team developing software solutions for the rail transport sector. You will contribute to the design and development of software and systems for the mobility of tomorrow, working closely with domain experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of software specifications and architectures based on the needs of rail experts.
• Define and manage technical specifications and subsystem requirements.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes, methods, and tools.
• Support the integration team and contribute to validation and implementation activities.
• Actively participate in the development of innovative software for future transportation.

Profile / Requirements :

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.

Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (software, electronics, industrial…).

Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ and Linux.

Project management experience is a strong asset.
