BDO Belgium is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Risk Advisory team in our Zaventem office. You will assess internal controls, risk management, and governance processes for clients, with a focus on delivering practical improvements.

You will lead audits, mentor juniors, and engage with clients to drive quality and compliance. A Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience, COSO knowledge, and fluency in Dutch and English are required; some travel within Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control, or Risk Management.
• Knowledge of COSO Framework; SOX experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and report on internal audit and internal control engagements.
• Assess business processes from risk and control perspectives; identify gaps and improvements.
• Lead client meetings and interviews and draft audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to project delivery and timelines.
