ALTEN Belgium is seeking a Senior Industrial Project Manager to join our teams in Liège, Belgium. You will lead industrial development projects, coordinating multiple services and subcontractors to achieve quality, time, and cost targets.

A strong engineering background and PM experience are required; a VCA safety certificate is a plus. ALTEN offers international opportunities and professional growth within a large group.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent by experience.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial engineering.
• Experience acting as a project manager.
• VCA safety certificate is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Lead the project preparation phase by refining our needs.
• Build up the project team, define the Work Breakdown Structure and Organization.
• Provide technical know-how and leadership to team members - Schedule and plan the project.
• Manage project and be accountable to stakeholders (kick-off, SUM, Obeya).
• Manage risks and opportunities and perform necessary trade-offs (SWOT).
• Monitor project execution and adjust trajectory to improve quality, time and costs.
• Ensure continuity by anticipating procurement activities and coordinating subcontractors.

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Industrial Project Manager to join our teams and work on client projects located in Liège. You will join our client on leading industrial development projects. These projects imply the cooperation of various services among the company and different sub-contractors.

As a Senior Industrial Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Lead the project preparation phase by refining our needs
• Build up the project team, define the Work Breakdown Structure and associated Organization
• Provide technical know-how and leadership to team members - Schedule and plan the project
• Manage project and be accountable towards different stakeholder (kick off meeting, SUM, Obeya)
• Manage risks and opportunities and perform necessary trade-offs (SWOT)
• Monitor project execution and adjust the trajectory to improve the project efficiency in terms of Quality, Time and Costs
• Ensure the continuity of the project by anticipating procurement activities and coordinating the subcontractors

Your profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent by experience
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering
• An experience acting as project manager
• A certificate of Safety for Operational supervisors like VCA is an asset;
