Job summary

SystemsAccountants Inc. is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join the finance team in Brussels. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting under Belgian GAAP and IFRS, using Oracle Netsuite as the core ERP, and delivering reliable month-end and year-end closures.

You will work in a hybrid setup, liaising with external auditors and tax consultants, and contribute to process improvements in data cleansing, AP/AR, and reporting for management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of senior accounting experience.
• Belgian GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite ERP.
• Strong English communication; French or Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial accounting under Belgian GAAP/IFRS.
• Maintain Netsuite-based general ledger.
• Deliver monthly and year-end closings.
• Prepare for audits and liaise with auditors.
• Support process improvements in data cleansing and AP/AR.
• Review bookkeeping entries and prepare management reports.
