Job summary

FoodChain ID Brasil is seeking an Accountant to manage general ledger, closing processes, VAT filings and intercompany transactions for Belgian, French, and German entities. You will collaborate with Finance and Administration across borders, strengthen controls, and optimise NetSuite usage.

We value detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical skills, fluent in English and French, and with experience in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Proven general accounting experience, ideally international or multi-entity.
Good knowledge of period-end closing processes and accounting/tax requirements.
Knowledge of VAT and intercompany transactions is an advantage.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Maintain and review the general ledger, including closing entries and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual closings within deadlines.
Contribute to VAT filings and statutory financial statements.
Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and allocations.
Support group reporting and improve closing procedures.
Identify variances and explain movements to management.
