Job summary

FoodChain ID Group is seeking an Accountant to support accurate, timely accounting across its Belgian, French and German operations. You will oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations and period-end close, contribute to VAT filings and audits, manage intercompany transactions, and provide clear information for group reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven general accounting experience in an international or multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of period-end closing processes and accounting & tax requirements.
• Experience with VAT and intercompany transactions is an advantage.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or another ERP system is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review the general ledger, including closing entries and cut-off.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings within deadlines.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Provide accounting information for group reporting and tax filings.
• Help improve closing procedures and internal controls; optimise finance tools like NetSuite.
