In4Matic is seeking a Senior Functional Tester to own quality assurance for business-critical applications in a railway-adjacent project. You will lead testing efforts, design automated tests, and collaborate with Product Owners and developers to ensure reliable, release-ready software.

Requirements include 10+ years in QA or development, 3+ years with Cypress/Selenium/WebdriverIO, API testing with Postman/ApiDog, and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in software QA and/or development.
• 3+ years hands-on with Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• 2+ years API testing with Postman, ApiDog, or equivalents.
• 3+ years working in Agile delivery teams with Product Owners.
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
• Experience with cross-browser, mobile, accessibility testing.
• Excellent English skills.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the overall test approach for applications.
• Translate requirements into clear, actionable test cases.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Refine user stories and acceptance criteria for testability.
• Own testing activities from planning to release validation.
• Identify risks and coverage gaps; propose improvements.
• Design and maintain automated tests for front-end apps.
• Perform API testing and SQL data validation when needed.
• Manage defects with prioritization and follow-up.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders.
• Promote strong testing practices and coach peers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
